Dev Ada

Looking to gain technical and project management skills, add a personal project to your resume, and meet others in CS? Join Dev Ada! Dev Ada is WCS’s annual project development cycle, taking place throughout the spring semester. Teams of 3-5 will be matched with PMs to ideate and develop a project of their choice. Participants will have access to exclusive technical workshops, networking opportunities, and socials. At the end of Dev Ada, there will be a final presentation to a panel of judges and prizes for the best teams and their PMs! Dev Ada is open to all (we do ask that PMs be sophomores or above)!

Bits & Bytes

Bits & Bytes is Women in CS’s flagship mentorship program that pairs underclassmen (Bits) with upperclassmen (Bytes) for a semester of honest advice, guidance, and community. It’s a great fit for freshmen, transfer students, or anyone looking for guidance around classes, majors, internships, or navigating campus life. We also host low-pressure events throughout the semester focused on bonding and mentorship. You do not need to be a woman or in CS to join, and the program is open to everyone, whether you want to become a Bit and get mentorship or become a Byte and mentor someone else.
